Although some of the earlier ones were not considered "BIM" quite yet, due to it not being a buzzword, as it is now. Regardless, we were inserting intelligence into 3D models for real-time Bill of Material & Quantity reports, Virtualization of Sequencing Animations, Hyperlinking & embedding XML Metadata into Equipment for FM applications, since 2003.I am adept at sifting through the endless technology in our market today, differentiating the 'cutting-edge' from the 'bleeding-edge'. I regularly write for industry magazines & publications - articles or joint-findings/research results on numerous subjects - mostly related to Technology in the AECO market. A few are Autodesk, ENR, Building Design + Construction. I have been a Content Manager for Autodesk User Group International’s magazine ‘AUGIWorld’ since 2008.My democratic leadership style has proven to foster top-talent, and bring them together to achieve a common goal for the good of the company.
