Ghost Industries is an engineering services group that focuses on Construction Management, MEP Building Engineering, Building Information Technology & Enhanced Blockchain verification systems. Its main group, the Building Information Technology and Preconstruction Management group, focused on BIM/VDC and the different facets of building design implemented through CAD software that bring it's overall business structure together. We worked with subcontractors, general contractors, building owners and consultants - to ensure that they met their BIM delivery and specific bid requirements for each project, where they otherwise could not meet based on their current staff and resources/experience. We worked in the background for these companies (this is where the name 'Ghost' was partially conceived), ensuring that they met their final deliverables for BIM "internally". I personally started this company in 2008, and we officially closed our doors in 2011. I was a part of every project that we won, and personally oversaw each from an engineering and technical aspect, and from the project management, estimating, scheduling and final deliverable preparation aspect as well.

As 'Director of Technologies, Preconstruction - MEPF & BIM' at Balfour Beatty Construction, I focused on the continued growth of their current and future success, as it relates to preconstruction activities and technologies, surrounding BIM, AR, VR, SaaS, PaaS, VDC, MEPF+ & more. My roles involved researching & implementing current and new technologies into my division's Workflow, working within the Innovation Champions group and our Center of Excellence - focusing on implementing our Scaleable Capabilities into each project. I was also heavily focused on Business Development as a whole for the Northern California division. I was working with our regional and international counterparts/divisions to help take groundbreaking strides in the right direction with a bipartisan effort from all of the experienced professionals at Balfour Beatty Construction.

Worked at the Northern California office of ACCO Engineered Systems, serving as Corporate BIM Manager. Between the BIM Engineering Services group, the VDC group, and the Piping & Sheet Metal CAD Detailing departments - I had over (40) very talented employees to support & oversee, along with day-to-day activities to complete, including Researching/Implementing current & future trending industry technology & processes, aligning group focus, internal & external training, hiring, software/hardware infrastructure, cost management, et al - all ensuring ACCO's current and future BIM technology and processes remain at the the forefront of the industry. I also supported and oversaw our niche & creative "BIMTech" Group (BIM Research & Development) - which is focused on maintaining their numerous BIM9-based 'ACCO BIMCloud' servers & Virtual Machines (cloud-based, SaaS computing), future BIM technologies, proprietary programming/infrastructure development utilizing Autodesk's SDK, API & ADN resources, tablet systems and database management, generating ROI reports on this technology, and programming tools within the software that maximize the BIM, Detailing & Engineering groups' productivity. My primary, core function was to support their extremely valuable BIM, VDC & CAD Detailing employees, managing costs associated with BIM and Detailing for their projects, and making sure that they were meeting/exceeding expectations - ultimately serving as a support & 'go-to' resource for these strong and trusted employees.

Served as 'Building Information Modeling (BIM) Lead' for the 33-employee BIM department of CEI - a large Engineering Construction Firm in the heart of Silicon Valley. My roles included setting up new BIM projects, creating standards, group synchronization & globalization, coordination with clients and General Contractors, Defining Scope, Attending kick-off meetings & working on behalf of CEI to help define the BIM 'rules of operation' for my projects while working as an intelligent parametrics-based 3D/4D/5D BIM designer and project engineer on different projects in the SF bay area to make their BIM projects more efficient than the competitors, and to maintain very strict schedules & deadlines. Projects that I have worked on to date @ CEI include Data Centers, Commercial Buildings, Bio-pharmaceutical Buildings & Clean-rooms, Hospitals, Educational Campuses and Colleges that include: The new Facebook campus (Commercial), HP building 20 (Commercial), HP's Moffett Towers (Commercial), The new Apple Headquarters & Campus in Cupertino ('Project Halo' - Commercial), VMWare (Data Center), Dupont Fabros (Data Center), Bing Concert Hall at Stanford University (Commercial), Juniper (Data Center), VMWare (Tech/Misc) Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (Healthcare), Gilead Sciences (BioPharm), Highland Hospital (Healthcare), and Villa Sienna (Healthcare).
