• Oversee and record in the system billing and A/R activities for grant agreements.• Reengineer procedures to ensure compliance with government accounting requirements and adherence to Father Joe’s Villages’ accounting policies and procedures.• Track fiscal performance related to Father Joe’s Villages’ budgets and government grants receivables and write variance analysis• Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure that fiscal and programmatic accountability data meets all contractual requirements. Make recommendations regarding changes in grant accounts.• Act as a liaison between program personnel and payroll to ensure appropriate contract allocation of expenses and salaries and to reconcile and request budget adjustments in compliance with grantors and internal regulations.• Lead person for SEFA preparation and liason for A133 annual audit. Respond to injuries from independent auditors.• Preparing, maintaining and managing government grants (local, state and federal), foundation, capital improvement projects and private grants ranging from $1,000 to over $1,000,000.• Developing, reviewing and approving multiple financial data needed in preparation for request for proposals for grant purposes.• Reviewing and approving the invoices received from sub-recipients of HUD grants for billing compliance and authorizing the monthly reimbursement of claims. Perform annual on-site monitoring visits.• Responsible for training new grant analysts and accounts clerk for day to day department operations.• Part of the fiscal team that is involved in creating and adjusting the company annual revenue budget of over 45 million dollars.Responsible for drawdown of federal funds from the LOCCS Automated System and reconciling the actual draws to the Grant Balance sheets.
