Other work involves pioneering open education, including the distribution of images (general and subject specific) under Creative Commons licenses via Flickr. This role acts as a key figure linking similar academic positions in each of the School in the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, as well as working alongside a dedicated TEL Support team. An external focus has recently led to chair the national Blackboard Medical Education Special Interest Group (BBMEDSIG).
