I am a skilled professional from XLRI Jamshedpur. Starting my career in Human Resources seemed like a mismatch at first given that my first management degree was in marketing and I spent the initial 4 years of my career in sales with HCL Infosystems. It was during my maternity break in 2002 when I was helping a friend as a freelance recruiter that I immediately recognized the opportunity HR presented, to understand the most important asset of any organisation; the people. I landed on a gold mine when I got through XLRI Jamshedpur and completed the program by coming 5th in a batch of 115 people. Today human beings are outnumbered by devices but to manage it all we need people on board which I can do by hiring top talent. I have experience in the whole recruitment cycle, talent acquisition, client management, and career development. With my ability to build strong relationships, great communication skills, passion for candidate care, and years of experience in sourcing, I succeed in attracting and hiring great talent. At the end of the day, my job involves people. We're complicated, we're always changing, we have millions of things going on in our lives, and changing jobs is ALWAYS a big decision. I believe that recruiting is at its peak when the candidate, the HUMAN, their wellness, and their needs, are put as the first priority. That, to me, means transparency, it means being an advocate, and it means creating a real partnership.Over the years I have been privileged to harness diverse views and opinions to create solutions that foster productivity. My previous work experience and understanding of different industries have helped me to roll out strategies and policies for better teamwork. I hope to use this varied exposure to add value.
