Project : Allstate Investments {Mar 2012-till date}Client : Allstate Investments, USA.Environment : Java, UNIX, Oracle 9i, Eagle, Quality Center ALM.Team Size : 10Role : Senior Test EngineerDescription:Allstate investments is a OMS which works in a Onsite-Offshore model. The Data flows from different source system such as Private Equity from Investran OMS, Real Estate Owner and Real Estate. Data is flown from Loan Management system (LMS) to Data integration architecture (DIA). DIA is an ETL tool which extract data from the source system applies business logic to it and converts file into XML format which is required by Data hub (Eagle). Data hub is an eagle application which applies business rule to the data and the data gets stored in the database. Data (Security master file, transaction detail and position detail) would the output of data hub in xml to DIA again. DIA again extracts the data and transform it and send it to Aladdin which is an order management system. Aladdin again sends out data to DIA and then passed to eagle. Responsibilities:• Responsible for the overall testing delivery• Planning, tracking and status reporting on test progress • Read / Analyze and understand the functional requirements• Prepare & review key testing deliverables and related documents like Test Plan, Test Case• Involved in Test data preparation and their respective testing types like, System , End to End and Workflow testing• Defect management and testing progress reporting• Ensure that the test deliverables are of high quality.• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager• Quality coordinator for process and quality control related activities• Active participation in all the training related to the project work like eagle, QC ALM 11• Logged the defects using QC & coordinated with development team to resolve the same• Worked on internal tool Hexacompare used for data comparison
