Preeti Kumar is a Engineering Leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS) at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Colleagues describe her as "Preeti was a student in two software engineering classes I taught -- one focusing on formal methods for software specifications and design and static analysis techniques for finding security vulnerabilities. The other one was object oriented functional programming based software design. She did very well in both the classes, and I hired her for two semesters to do a project on extraction of formal models from C-programs. This project required building a parser and translator from SSA representation of C programs, and build polychronous model automatically. She did a very good job, and completed the work in time. She is very hardworking, and bright -- I think she would have done well as a PhD student. But she chose to go to industry and I think she will do very well there too." and "Preeti is a quick leaner.
