Worked as a Chief Sub Editor, handling a team of reporters and editors of four editions.

Was heading the editorial team for six editions in Bangalore city. Ideation, editing, subbing, re-writing, team management and coordinating with head office.

Right from education to food, lifestyle to bollywood, women and social issues to politics, market to politics and narratives-- working with features department gave me an opportunity to widen my writing area to include an array of many interesting subjects. The stint also helped me handle a team of writers, improve editing and coordination and realise my potential as a feature writer and leader.

First stint on editing desk. Learnt how it feels to be on the other side and why reporting and desk teams are most of the time at loggerheads (though not exactly). Handled city edition for Allahabad and Lucknow. Responsible for Pg 3 for both the editions apart from other pages. worked on editing and page-making skills.
