- Designed an encoder-decoder U-Net based fault pixel semantic segmentation model for seismic images with a Jaccard coefficient of 0.95, reducing manual labelling need of fault pixels in seismic images by a factor of 10.
- Executed post processing deep learning model to reduce noise generated during predictions on seismic images for semantic segmentation further increasing the Jaccard coefficient by 3%.
- Designed and implemented semantic segmentation model using convolution neural network for prediction of fault and non-fault pixels in a seismic image.
- Improved performance from 60% to 95% by replacing a heuristic-based approach to identify header and graph section in a raster image with a GAN based segmentation model.
