I am deeply interested in building highly scalable, event-driven, asynchronous, and distributed Full Stack applications. I have experience with Data Structures, Algorithms, Web Development, System Design, Low-Level Design, Performance, Code Quality and Open Source.I have independently engineered, delivered and owned multiple Full Stack systems (Frontend, Backend and DevOps). These involved communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, researching, documenting own requirements, planning and timely execution.I have worked as a founding engineering member at a fast-paced startup for two years. During the inception phase, along with building the core product, I proactively took initiatives to help us iterate and ship faster. I set up the CI/CD pipeline, the entire infrastructure for the application on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the monitoring and alerting system with Prometheus and Grafana. I streamlined the code contribution workflow by publishing guidelines and training the team to move faster without chaos.I was a Google Summer of Code Student Developer for Zulip. I made 92+ code commits and reviewed over 90+ pull requests in Open Source with Python. I’m proud of building a full-fledged Table inside a terminal with support for text alignments (https://bit.ly/3TVzMgX) at Zulip.I have mentored four developers as a Google Summer of Code Mentor for Zulip and three interns at Nbyula to promote code quality, maintainability, reliability and ownership.I can learn anything quickly, and have the tendency to dive deep into problems and come up with the best possible solution given the timeframe, scale and requirements.
