Let’s get the ‘techie’ bit out of the way...Consider me your problem-solver and 'out-of-the-box' thinker, solving customer pain points with technology service solutions.Still with me? Great!3 things really matter to me that I want you to know: ➡️MENTAL HEALTHLifelong anxiety sufferer over here.**hello**For over 10 years I wrestled with health anxiety.IT. WAS. BAD.Imagine:♦️ Crying on the office floor in the middle of the working day.♦️ Checking your pulse every ten minutes - you know - just in case you’re about to die.♦️ Holding your breath for…. No apparent reason?Thankfully, in the last two years, I’ve been more in control than I’ve ever been.**Touch wood**I’m me again. And I want to harness this newfound energy and motivation, and do something positive with it.➡️LEADERSHIPYou know the phrase, “lead from the front”?That doesn’t sit right with me.It implies that everyone is BEHIND you whereas great leadership puts everyone else in FRONT of you.(I can’t help but do a cheeky happy dance when I see others win!)So many are in positions that require them to lead, but they aren’t the type of person people want to follow. Their eyes are fixed on career enhancement, and of course, the dosh.Stand-out leaders ask themselves, how can I help someone be better without needing recognition or praise for doing so? Just because it FEELS GOOD to support someone.➡️CORPORATE CULTURECan I be honest with you?I absolutely detest modern-day business.Hear me out!So many companies only focus on making as much money in the shortest time possible without a care for the employees that got them there.**sad face**Companies need people, not the other way around. It’s great having a token ping-pong table in the staff room, but it doesn't bring genuine value to our employees' lives.Be the company that treats your people well. Those people? They will look after your customers and become your greatest ambassadors. As serious as this all sounds, I’m just a big kid at heart.HEY, PHILIP!YOU WANNA GO KICK A BALL ABOUT?Uh, yeah! I’m bringing serious levels of excitement.Hey, Philip! Wanna learn to skateboard only months after surgery??WHY THE HECK NOT?!I’m pretty relaxed about most things in life. But I do feel strongly about…👉Reshaping the landscape of corporate responsibility toward one of selflessness & generosity👉Bringing servant-model leadership to the forefront👉Being a voice for mental health on behalf of those who still suffer in silence.Swing by and have a chat. I’m an open book.
