I was recently recognized as the 'Best Market Researcher Under 30' by MRSI, let's see why:During my time at the O.P Jindal Global University, I was awarded as the academic topper for my outstanding performance throughout the 5 years. I wondered, what was keeping me motivated .. and to that I realized my desire to learn the 'new and unknown'. The joy of learning new techniques, new theories and solving case studies gave me more excitement than binging an OTT show. This interest also led to me choose inter-disciplinary electives from other schools like Humor as a tool for Business, Migration & Pandemic, which were not related to my industry but shaped my future course of work unconsciously. Having experience with different professors, students and varied course of subjects, I found my passion - Understanding humans to uncover nuanced narratives, delve into human experieces and unveiling the depth behind data. For me, my work is not a piece of research, it is a goal for me which builds strong motivation to go beyond the conventional data collection methods and I always try to go one step beyond. For instance, I was leading a study for a 2WH passenger transport service and to make sense of the research insights, I booked a ride for myself on Uber Moto to understand the female perspective. I believe in Mitch Albom's saying in his book 'Tuesdays with Morrie', "Devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning", and well, understanding humans from different walks of life has given me a strong purpose. It is keeping me on the path of becoming a change maker. I try to not only initiate success, but also attain responsible success by deploying structure and process in my work. Despite the work, the excitement to work every morning on a new category/product/brand keeps me going. To give you an example: Understanding the emotions of someone drinking tea in Varanasi on the banks of river Ganga while the sun is setting Vs someone drinking tea in their lavish living room with a movie playing on their LED TV opens the door to interpret on how they feel about their tea .. and I'm ever ready to enter this unknown space of emotions and understand the unique value associations.The excitement, diversity and energy that I bring to the table basis my experience, communication and thought process makes me a powerful driver of work.
