Purchase Engineer
Current• Reporting to Sr. Manager and gained Experience in Project schedules including procurement of Capital equipments and other Project Purchases and the inspection of equipment at Manufacturer as per Project Head instructions. I Had gained experience in Mechanical, Electrical maintenance of Process equipments as well as Capital procurements.• Looking after overall purchase activities like collecting and processing of purchase requisitions.• Preparing purchase and service orders, identifying potential vendors, vendor development and vendor rating.• Meeting production and maintenance requirement to reach the production targets of the company in coordination with concerned departments. • Processing of documentation in time, connected with stores and accounts & finance• Will take care of import / Export consignment handling & documenting.• Responsible of inventory control and management.• Planning, procure ring, identifying the vendors for purchase, to relate project equipments / services with a acumen on commercials and technical.• Sound commercial knowledge related to all contractual aspects, applicable taxes etc of project procurement handling for inland as well as import procurement.• Timely anticipation of deliveries, slippages to avoid project delay and hereby monitoring losses.• Internal liaison with departments like Finance, Legal on contract framing and issuing.• Aware of Bank documentation procedures and PDC,LC's.• Having a good understating of material and documentation.• Having knowledge in cost base analysis and value engineering and vendor price evaluation. • Good understanding of steel and power related fuel vendors.• Can Plan for inquiries on technical and commercial basis,• Identifying the national and international suppliers, • And giving the Guidance to the purchase team in commercial negotiation.• Having good communication skills, good negotiation skills and should be proficient with the legal aspects of procurement.
