Job Role:- Purchasing and providing the consignment items ( Stents, Pacemakers, Implants etc) to various OTs (I.e Cath- lab, Cardiac OT, General OT etc) to avoid re-scheduling of procedures, as well as charge the consignment items after use and ensure their (vendor’s) payment on time, Receiving all the goods ordered by the purchase department and checking the details (Lot, Expiry, MRP) of all goods (Medicines, Surgical items) and then create the GRN (good recipient number) of each bill. Then inform OP & IP to take those items from receiving store.Responsibilities:- Making PO of the required items and updating the RC on regular basis, creating/ assigning new items to our unit (if needed),Providing all the implant used by various OTs, Checking stock of all the implants on monthly basis which are we have on credit basis and check that with the stocks of respective vendors to avoid any mistakes, Return all the breakage/ near expiry items to the respective vendors on replacement basis, updating the cost of implant time to time as per vendors request as well as govt. Rule and regulations.
