I've founded KED India to provide Engineering and Drafting services to the Process Industry. At Kanna Enginers and Drafters, we aim to provide low cost engineering and drafting services to our clients in Natural Gas processing, Refining, Biodiesel and Storage Terminal industry. I head the Process Engineering department and have completed following projects in the Process Industry:Natural Gas:Refrigeration units (Dew Point Control) - Worked on several projects to provide complete Process Engineering package for flowrate ranging from 1.2 - 5.0 MMSCFD Natural Gas Refrigeration unit. KED India scope involved Simulaiton, equipment sizing, Equipment datasheet, Line sizing and PFD generation work.Amine Treatment - Design of 60 GPM Amine treating unit using DEA. Scope of work involved Simulationdevelopment and PFD generation.NGL Separation - Performed simulation work for NGL Fractionation unit. Based on feed and desired products bythe client, De-propanizer and De-butanizer columns were used. Also provided PFD and detailsof heat requirements for heating and cooling of both towers.Storage Terminal - Performed Basic and Detail design for two API-650 tanks, each of 100,000 BBL capacity for Crude and Condensate. This facility also had LACT units, Booster pumps and associated pipelines. This project is currently under construction near Corpus Christi, TX, US.Biodiesel - Worked on various projects like distillation of waste vegetable oil, Glycerine purification for an engineering company in US.

I've helped Valdel Engineers and Constructors in setting up the Process Department at their Noida Location. After relocating from Houston, I was the first Process Engineer to join Valdel Noida. Currently the team has grown to 14.As a lead engineer on multiple projects, my major role was to co-ordinate projects between Houston and Noida offices. Responsible for developing Heat & Material Balance, PFD, P&ID for the chemical manufacturing facility. Worked with operators, QA/QC and maintenance team to ensure safe and optimum plant operations.
