I am a dedicated mental health specialist practicing in the Pacific, proudly embracing my Fiji-born Indian heritage. My approach to mental health is deeply eclectic, integrating traditional and modern practices to reflect the rich cultural tapestry of our communities. As a post-modernist feminist, I champion inclusivity and empowerment in all aspects of my work. My heritage and roots are integral to my identity and inform my holistic approach to mental well-being. I am committed to fostering a supportive and understanding environment where individuals from all backgrounds can thrive.Experiencing trauma or severe life stressors can make our lives feel like they’re unraveling. My greatest passion is to help individuals embark on their healing and self-discovery journeys. I support clients and their families in finding healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthening their interpersonal relationships to lead more productive, authentic, resilient, and balanced lives.In addition to my clinical practice, I provide supervision and mentoring support for mental health professionals in Fiji. Through Mending Minds Foundation (Fiji), we offer a wide range of specialized mental health and psychosocial support services, as well as professional development training, throughout Fiji.
