CurrentAs the Head of India Product Compliance, I lead a team of 2 members in India directly and support the compliance engineering teams located in Singapore, Taipei, Austin and Boston. In the present role I:• Ensure on-time, continued seamless market access for information technology products from client peripherals to enterprise infrastructure. • Monitor, Influence, and Interpret technical and environmental product compliance regulations• Contribute to compliance strategy formulation & monitor operations, assess regulatory risk & support mitigation plan development and coordinate market surveillance responses, • Own responses to government regulatory bodies on reported & perceived non-compliances to avoid any business impact• Collaborate with the government to harmonize Indian standards and regulations with global practices• Provide thought leadership and engage the industry to work with the government towards sustainable and practical policies and regulations• Represent the company (as the designated focal point and authorized signatory) to the Govt of India for all product compliance regulations• Design programs based on risk to optimize cost of compliance
