• As the sole Network Administrator / Help Desk for the company, I designed, built and maintain networks throughout multiple offices / locations (Connecticut, New Jersey, Tampa, NYC, Southampton).• Built all servers on a VmWare infrastructure; backup, maintenance – in person as well as remotely, etc. • Built all servers using Linux distributions; PDC, mail server, file server, webserver, firewall/Web Proxy. Trading programs all run on Linux (installed on top of VmWare, saving Grace Financial Group $12,000/year in software and hardware costs.• Created company website (using HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL).• Install and maintain IP phone systems with unused company CPU’s saving $1000’s in hardware costs. (Asterisk, FreePBX w/ Cisco SPA509G phones)• Designed, built and maintain all network cabling infrastructure.
