Pono Express is your airport transportation center in Lihue, Hawaii. Started in 2010 on Kau’ai as Pono Taxi, Pono Holdings, LLC has since expanded into a holding company for Pono Taxi, Pono Express, Pono Shuttle, and Pono Tours, operating on all four major islands. We provide group, private, activity, tour, and medical transportation on O’ahu, Maui, Kaua’i, and Hawai’i. Our name, Pono, comes from the Hawaiian word for “balance” and “righteousness”, and reflects our mission to provide the highest quality service by doing things properly. We strive to live up to our name by maintaining a high level of professional courtesy with all of our service partners, contractors, and customers. We believe in being pono in all of our actions, as a business and as individuals. Pono is much more than a name to us, it is our constant reminder to conduct our business and our lives according to the highest principles of service.
