Hello and welcome to my LinkedIn profile! My name is Kamaraj Premkumar and I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Rajalakshmi Engineering College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.I received my B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University in Chennai in 2005. I then went on to complete my M.E. degree in the same field from Anna University in 2007. In 2015, I obtained my Ph.D. from Anna University as well, specializing in electrical and electronics engineering.Currently, my research interests focus on designing speed and current controllers based on various types of controllers such as PID, fuzzy logic, ANFIS, and CANFIS for special electrical machines. My work involves a lot of simulation using MATLAB, and I have expertise in designing simulations for renewable energy systems as well as the simulation of electrical systems. I am also involved in research and development activities and have published several research papers in reputed international journals.One of my key skills is in the area of power electronics and power systems. I have experience working with PV systems and designing MPPT algorithms, as well as the design of converters. I have also worked on wind energy systems and have experience in designing and optimizing battery and supercapacitor systems, fuel cell systems, and optimization algorithms such as PSO and genetic algorithms.In my research, I utilize a range of techniques such as fuzzy logic control, artificial intelligence, neural networks, and ANFIS. I am particularly interested in the use of AI tools for research paper writing, which can help researchers to streamline their writing process and produce high-quality papers more efficiently.Apart from my research and academic work, I am also involved in several extracurricular activities. I am an active member of IEEE and have served as a reviewer for several IEEE journals.
