In my capacity of an Associate Director at Balfour Beatty Engineering Design Centre, I am responsible and accountable for a team size of 30 and growing rapidly. We as a team offer Design services across Balfour Beatty UK Group companies to align with the vison of save the blue pound. My sphere of influence in the organisation is within Engineering Design Centre Disciplines, support functions, Balfour Beatty PT&D, Balfour Beatty Multiutilities, Balfour Beatty UKCS and wider Balfour Beatty group companies.In 2016, I have been tasked by Balfour Beatty Management to create a M&E/BIM Team to support the Detailed Design for the projects in the UK. UK had a huge Skill shortage in M&E/BIM. I have established the Offshore design team as part our group company in Oct 2016 starting two Designers for M&E Support to Crossrail Woolwich Station. Chennai Metro Rail Project

As a Design Manager – MEP, for Underground Stations the job responsibility includes design management of MEP services for Chennai metro Rail project underground package UAA 02 which has 3 underground stations and associated tunnels.  Responsible for overall MEP Design, inter discipline and intra discipline coordination, Interactions with Client, consultants and contractors etc. Coordination of MEP services & work closely with external design consultants / architects to ensure best practice functionality of all services throughout the design development process. Critically analyze & estimate the designs provided by the sub-consultants for their alignment to the project objectives, and engineering feasibility. Monitoring of all the phases of the MEP design development process and address any changes to the original scope of services and the impact to the project design schedule and budget.  Continually assess project design needs and resources available to complete the design development process successfully  Provide necessary support and guidance to the project execution team during the execution phase of the project
