Duties & Responsibilities - Special Economic Zone (SEZ)● Setting up of Office in Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for the smooth functioning of SEZ / Customs activity.● Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.● Coordination with government officials.● Softex, Bill of Entry (BoE), Shipping Bill, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Performance Report (APR) filing.● Conversant with Customs Act, Import-Export policy and SEZ… Show more Duties & Responsibilities - Special Economic Zone (SEZ)● Setting up of Office in Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for the smooth functioning of SEZ / Customs activity.● Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.● Coordination with government officials.● Softex, Bill of Entry (BoE), Shipping Bill, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Performance Report (APR) filing.● Conversant with Customs Act, Import-Export policy and SEZ procedures and formalities.● Submit all the required paperwork for all clearances of shipments, that are imported and work with the Clearing agents to get multiple approvals from the government.● Maintaining records for Material Import and export.● Submit the relevant forms and invoices with the Bank to close the outstanding invoice reflected in IDPMS & EDPMS.● CHIMS registration certificateAccounts & Finance● Bookkeeping, managing day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable.● Strong knowledge of accounting software - Tally ERP, Zoho Books, Quickbooks.● Receive and record cash, checks, and vouchers; reconcile bank account statements.● Generate reports, reflecting profit and loss statements, financial statements and balance sheets.● Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.● Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and present financial reports to senior management.● Processing of Payments (ACH, Wire, etc.) by uploading the payments on the Bank’s Portal. Timely payments are critical to our business process and these activities need to be completed on a daily basis within a stipulated time.● Tracking Bank balances, follow up with banks to resolve discrepancies● Credit card and bank reconciliations.● Placing of Purchase orders● Coordinate and follow up with vendors to resolve differences and respond toqueries.
