On the path to becoming an engineer, it’s crucial to identify real-world problems and find ways to address them. As part of my first-year rural internship project at DYPIU, I worked with Ankur Samajik Sanstha, where we began at the ground level to understand and tackle the socio-economic challenges in marginalized areas. This experience involved engaging with underprivileged children, offering career guidance, and providing educational resources to empower them. Additionally, I contributed to implementing tools and strategies to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. This project allowed me to leverage my skills in a practical setting, gaining valuable experience in social work and understanding the impact of engineering on society.
