As Chairman of the Bank, headed the Bank’s subsidiary promoted in JV with Government of India and State Government. The Bank is now the largest and most profitable Regional Rural Bank in the State and covers 4 districts, with a network of 59 Branches and 2 Area offices having total business of Rs 450 crore. Key responsibilities included:▫ Management, Administration, Control and Supervision of the entire Bank’s businesses▫ Corporate Planning & Policy, Business Development, CRM & Product Development▫ Board related matters, Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations, Credit, Funds & Investment Management, Inspection & Audit, etc.▫ Liaison with Ministry of Finance, State Government; RBI, NABARD, Sponsor Bank, DRDA, District Administration; and other Government institutions▫ Effected Turnaround in the Bank ~ Accumulated losses were wiped off, Reserves were created for first time since Bank’s inception and thereafter, it is among the most financially robust Regional Rural Banks in the country
