About Pedro S. Rendon
“The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do” - Kobe Bean Bryant. I really resonate and live by this quote. I was born and raised in Southeast LA and grew up loving sports. I thought I wanted to be a baseball player, but I was inspired by all the aerospace marvels done in my city, when I moved to Downey at 11 years old. I took a different path that has now led to study aerospace and electrical engineering at CSULB, pursue my pilots license and strive to help others in this path. Being able to represent my heritage and first-generation Hispanic students in the aerospace industry is truly a blessing. My name is Pedro Spencer Rendon. I'm a senior aerospace engineering major at CSULB. Interests in flight test, test/integration and propulsion work. Passionate about all things aerospace and astronomy related. Skilled in MS Office, Inventor, Catia, NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MSC Apex, Patran, Nastran, Ansys, 3D printing, Python, C, LabView and Ansys. Experienced in spacecraft and aircraft design, manufacturing, testing, and integration. I am a resourceful technical writer with experience writing test plans, test/safety procedures, asset documentation, PDR’s, CDR’s and TRR’s. I love what I am learning, and I am open to opportunities to expand my knowledge in the aerospace industry. I am of the INFJ-A personality type.
