Lead a team doing Porting and optimization of the H.264 decoder and MPEG4 Decoder on Toshiba’s S1G platform (Dual processor system – MeP and Tutti). Goal was to minimize wait-states and hence obtain perfect parallelization between MeP and Tutti.

- Porting and optimization of Video codecs [MPEG-4/2, H.264, RealVideo] on Toshiba's T4G (RISC processor). Optimizations included code optimization, processor level optimizations, using instruction caches and data caches effectively using DMAs etc.- Developed high-performance motion estimation algorithms and Designed and developed the overall encoder framework for the MPEG4 Encoder.

- Integration and testing of different Video Codecs. Designed, Implemented and tested the partial motion estimation algorithm. - Designed, implemented and tested the communication between ARM and DSP. Used the IMX module of DSC25 for motion estimation.
