Currently, I work as a Lead Technical Writer at Highlands, where I am managing a team of 5 technical writers. I am responsible to produce and maintain documentation, including User Guides, Integration Guides, Release Notes, Learning Management System (LMS), Knowledge Base Articles, and In platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.).Responsibilities:• Building and forming the technical writing team and managing them on a day-to-day basis• Actively driving and managing the weekly activities of the technical writing team• Mentor and coach team members via 1:1 meeting with their deliverables, performance improvements, and career development• Work with developers, technology leaders, and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and document product/service information• Work with Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to develop and write information for new product releases; including online help, release notes, product overviews, and other product information as required• Develop screenshots and conceptual graphics as required to illustrate procedures, concepts, and other information in the product information• Edit text for technical clarity, accuracy, grammar, consistent terminology, and style• Evaluate and provide feedback for improvement to document content and processes•
