First as an intern with Daniels-Wingerak Engineering in 2006, Michael designed heating, cooling and ventilation systems for buildings. In 2013, Michael started Bright Buildings to support the Passivhaus standard, a universal sustainable building standard leading to 90% space heating energy savings.Michael is a founder of Radiance Cohousing. The collaborative, 9-unit housing development is designed to meet the Passivhaus standard.
