Current.: In more than 36 years of practice as a preservation architect, Daniel Koplowitz has created a body of work of sublime quality. Preserving historic fabric while creating new architecture of lasting beauty and function, his projects consistently achieve their design intent while meeting project goals and client objectives..: Mr. Koplowitz routinely seeks challenging assignments: from the gut renovation of modern lobbies to the exterior restoration of Grand Central Terminal; from the renovation of apartments and homes to the design of a pool house or a simple shed. He has completed numerous projects on the South Fork of Long Island which include a FEMA beach house, a few new homes, and second story additions. His work has fine examples of custom furniture and light fixture design, as well..: Multi-disciplinary in his practice, Koplowitz holds a B.S. degree in Architecture and a Masters in Architecture with a specialization in Historic Preservation.
