As the Director of Residential Nursing and Client Services, I am responsible for providing leadership and oversight for nursing care and client services tailored to meet the unique needs of youth residing in our residential facilities. My position ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and compassionate care while promoting a safe and nurturing environment for the youth and young adults in our care. My role oversees client-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and promotes a positive working environment for nursing staff and client service managers. Additionally, I play a key role in building strong relationships with children, their families, and external stakeholders to support the clients’ holistic well-being.

I oversee and manage nursing and medical staff within the facility, making key decisions related to management and budgeting. I specialize in stroke assessments and care for patients with cerebral vascular accidents (strokes), aiming to improve patient outcomes.As the charge nurse of a 42-bed neurology and telemetry unit, I lead and manage the team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. I also serve as a preceptor to new nurses, helping them transition into the neurology and telemetry specialty.Committed to patient safety, I educate peers on preventing Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTIs), teaching best practices for catheter care and testing their skills in catheter insertion, removal, and maintenance.
