Research on multilingualism and musicianship in resting-state EEG. Investigated functional differences between monolinguals and non-musicians. Collected research participants and facilitated data collection using an EEG cap. Published paper on cognitive neuroscience and linguistics perspectives on ChatGPT and knowledge. In this role, I championed the development of numerous behavioral stimulation paradigms to induce the larval zebrafish “optomotor response.” I constructed behavioral rigs to project the stimulation protocols and track behavioral activity in real-time through high speed cameras. Using Python and various data analysis packages such as Pandas, Seaborn, MatPlotLib, Scipy, and Numpy, I carried out thorough analysis of our behavioral data and used data visualization techniques to tell the story of our findings. I composed and presented a comprehensive manuscript of our findings. I prepared and operated two-photon and light-sheet microscopes to image GCaMP in our larval zebrafish, and utilized Fiji to process and analyze the images. I also gained wet lab experience through designing primers and running PCR.
