As a Brookwoods counselor I was responsible for the mentoring and safety of campers aged 13-18. Throughout my four years I facilitated group discussions, guided multiple-day hikes on the Appalachian Trail through both New Hampshire and Maine, taught beginner, intermediate, and advanced sailing courses, helped co-lead a seven day canoe trip in the Chibougamau region of Northern Canada, and experienced many other situations that challenged me as both a leader and a team player.
