About Preston Epplett

Preston began his accounting career in 1968. He became a partner in 1981 for McCulloch & Menzies and later was the Partner in Charge of the Hastings office when the firm was using its International Accounting name Touche Ross.He was a Partner of Richardson Epplett and Partners, before founding Preston Epplett and Co in April 2002.Preston specialises in family group reorganisations including Trusts and Estates. He also has expertise in the Education and Rural sectors. He has been very involved with Information Technology and was the Regional IT director for Touche Ross.Preston is married to Jenny; they have four children, and are proud grandparents to five grandchildren! Preston is an avid sports fan, with a particular interest in cricket, rugby and ten-pin bowling. Injury forced a temporary retirement from Tenpin bowling, but Preston is now playing again in the Business House League.Preston is active in the community having filled a number of significant roles in the Catholic Parish of St Peter Chanel, and in the Palmerston North Diocese.
