• Qualified operator of ship board JP-5 fuel console, pump room, and filtration systems
• Ensured the training and supervision of nine E-3 and below personnel
• Led team of sailors for refurbishment of entire aft JP-5 pump room, two service filters rooms, and six cargo trunks during shipyard period. Received a grade of “outstanding” for material condition during fuel system.
• Completed pump room qualification three weeks ahead of schedule to fill the gap of transferring personnel
• Successfully issued 2.3 million gallons of JP-5 during four underway periods without a single mishap
• Contributed significantly in the on-load of 1.2 million gallon of JP-5 by ensuring that accurate tank levels were obtained to balance ships list and trim with no spills, with less than 24 hour notice in the evacuation.
