I had the opportunity for this fellowship in the 711th Human Performance Wing, Air and Space Biosciences Division. I was selected for this ORISE position through Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education . This project involves creating and visualizing a model of fatigue state in near-real time that will inform the warfighter or other user in advance. The model may involve behavioral, physiological, and subjective data streams, and may also involve the usage of multiple coding languages such as Java, Python, HTML, statistical modeling, and cognitive modeling. I worked with a team of cognitive neuroscience researchers, as well as a multifaceted team of statistical scientists, perceptual scientists, software engineers, and hardware engineers.
