About Preston Tower

I'm passionate about things that fly. From building aircraft, to flying airplanes, to writing autopilots that fly themselves, nothing makes me more excited than getting something in the air. At MIT I studied a wide range of aerospace topics. I particularly loved engaging with control theory, aerodynamics, and robotics. At Windlift I am helping develop a robust fixed/rotary-wing flight controller that flies at the end of a tether in unpredictable winds—a challenge which incorporates many of my passions.
