As a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Management Information Systems (MIS) at McCombs School of Business, I am passionate about leveraging technology to drive strategic decision-making and improve business operations. My career interests lie at the intersection of IT, consulting, and the energy sector, where I seek to apply my technical skills to solve complex infrastructure challenges.During my recent internship at Fixinium in Houston, I gained hands-on experience managing IT projects in the energy sector. One of my most impactful projects involved overseeing a critical infrastructure initiative alongside the Chief Executive Officer that deployed BIOS configurations across 1,000 computers. This deployment resulted in a 15% reduction in downtime, significantly improving operational efficiency.Within the university, I actively contribute as the Internal Systems Director for the Asian Business Students Association (ABSA). Leading internal relations for over 200 members, I implemented communication strategies that fostered collaboration and increased upperclassmen retention by 20%.
