Utilized troubleshooting skills to determine which layer of the OSI model issues occurred and executed plan to resolve and restore connectivity for affected personnel.- Selected to augment and train United State Forces Japan Network administrator on 3 networks. Ensured no breaks in network service for 2 General Officers, US Forces, Japanese Mission Partners, and Korean Mission Partners, during planning for multi-national Joint Force Exercise. Personal Letter of Accomplishment and recognition from 3 Star General received for efforts.- Trained 15 new personnel on: CISCO switches, routers, and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) telephony; Plain Old Telephone System (POTS) telephony; Troubleshooting; Layers 1, 2, and 3 of the OSI Model; Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) configuration and subnetting; TACACS/RADIUS configuration and CISCO Integrated Security Environment (ISE) servers.
