I am an accomplished Military Leader with over 15 years of experience in all operational facets of day-to-day personnel leadership. I currently work directly with the Utah Army National Guard as the program manager of the Suicide Prevention and Substance Abuse Prevention Programs. I effectively work with senior leadership in identifying high risk behaviors found within their individual organizations and work with Unit Commanders in formulating an effective Risk Mitigation Plan to minimize the fruition of the identified high-risk behaviors. I have extensive public speaking experience, often addressing sensitive topics where specific verbiage in effective communication is required to properly connect with my audience about topics such as suicide and substance abuse prevention and addiction recovery. I have had the distinct privilege of mentoring and teaching many subordinates, peers, and superiors seeking assistance through their personal difficulties.
