My task was to observe and offer feedback about the manufacturing process at BeaverFit. To start, I observed the Fabrication Process and documented the time it takes to create various components within the top parts created. I explored ways to make the layout and process more efficient and ergonomic for the welders as well as the powder coating staff.Next, I analyzed the powder coating process and worked hands on with the team to better understand this process. Through this process of working with them and observing how goals were achieved, I was able to identify areas where BeaverFit could increase productivity.Through my observations of the managing software and the manufacturing process, I was able to discover a discrepancy between the times developed by the software and the times that I was able to produce and document.
