This prototype PennDOT project was unique in that the consultant team works very closely with the Department and other stakeholders (primarily DVRPC, involved municipalities and county planning commissions) in accessing the condition of an arterial signal system, developing new timing plans for that system, implementing the timing and then optimizing the results. To date, our team has improved every corridor assigned with impressive results in terms of delay, stopped vehicles and travel time. I am also served as Project Manager on a Signal Timing Initiative in South Jersey for the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission. The TWT team has been retained to optimize 500/600 County Routes and other intersections/arterials as selected by Mercer, Camden, Burlington and Gloucester Counties. My final interest is working with the PA Turnpike Commission. I was the Project Manager on an Open-Ended Contract with the PTC. Assignments to date include design of a camera at the HBG interchange, a system-wide inventory of trailblazer signs and long-term traffic counting on the Main Line. -
