Leading our procurement operations organization which includes buying, indirect spend management, raw material planning. In addition, I am responsible for Ascend's MRO and Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contracting.

Led the strategic capital expansion of Ascend's ADN and HMD facilities in the US and China resulting in the construction of grassroots HMD facility in China.

Transformed the planning and execution of major turnarounds at our manufacturing facilities in Texas and Alabama. Transformation focused on building the right teams and following a well-established process. Prior to transformation, turnarounds were unpredictable and over budget by 20% to 40% and long on schedule by one to two weeks. After transformation, turnarounds were delivered, and continue to be delivered, predictably on cost and schedule.

Module Fabrication Manager on international joint venture pursuit team for +$6 billion TIC lump sum LNG export terminal in North America. Scope of project includes Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction and Startup. Responsible for overall module fabrication execution strategy development.

Responsible for management of interfaces between Utilities, Offsites and Infrastructure project and other interfacing parties for a multi-billion dollar grass roots refinery program in Kuwait. Single point of contact regarding interface issues and responsible for driving the process to see that all interfaces are identified, registered, managed and successfully concluded in a timely and structured manner. Functionally report to the Program Interface Manager and the Utilities, Offsites and Infrastructure Project Manager.

Area Manager reporting directly to Project Manager and Construction Manager for an offsites and utilities project in the United States Gulf Coast. The scopes under my leadership included an instrument air unit, modifications to existing pipe racks, retrofits to existing facilities, underground firewater installation and early works. Main responsibilities included managing the purchase and delivery of equipment, maintaining alignment between engineering and procurement, assistance in construction work front identification and construction planning, management of construction work package development, sub-contractor interface and coordination of system turnover. Scopes entailed engineering, procurement, self perform construction and construction management.

Developed and coordinated commercial and technical proposals, strategic plans, and key business activities for Fluor's Downstream, Pipeline and Offshore pursuits. Performed project risk and commercial profitability analysis on projects up to $2 billion. Participated in contract negotiation strategy sessions, bid decisions, commercial and contractual reviews, pursuit strategy meetings and project kickoff meetings.

Performed fundamental engineering work in accordance with Fluor policy and standards to ensure piping systems meet requirements of ASME and API codes. Extensive experience in the engineering and design of piping systems, including computer modeling, flexibility analysis, support steel design, spring design and nozzle analysis. With experience in vibration analysis of piping systems within reciprocating compressor units. Knowledgeable of stress/strain theories as applies to strengths of materials. Familiar with piping components, commercial availability and cost of materials, industry trends and practices in the U.S. and foreign countries. Working knowledge of P&IDs, other discipline drawings and vendor’s data.
