Holding similar duties to those that I had as a checker- having to assist customers and resolve conflict. For my everyday tasks, they usually involve filtering "Sweet Deal" product displays in and out based on our weekly sales. This requires me to find the most suitable locations for displays so that they’re accessible and noticeable to customers. I'm also responsible for rotating stock of our more perishable grocery items while also keeping count of inventory to assist in product orders.

Along with balancing a till, my main duties as a checker involved working alongside an interchanging group of other checkers and courtesy clerks all while improving the customer experience. I supervised and monitored up to 10 other employees at once- answering questions, giving feedback, and working around a break schedule. For customers, I was required to provide assistance for any sudden conflicts that arose. This included guiding them to product locations and fixing any negative experiences that could affect the Yokes image. I also trained two courtesy clerks by teaching them these expectations as well as their everyday duties at the store. Most importantly, I was proud to encourage the company's culture of positivity, fun, and adventure.
