Previously I worked for >25 years in R&D with RTI, Union Carbide Ag Products (now Bayer Ag), and BD. He helped develop technology that led to 15 US Patents and 21 peer-reviewed Publications. He has worked in RTP continuously since 1971.I have also worked with emerging startup companies beginning with his time with BD, such as Metabolon, Humacyte, Synecor, AAD, Tranzyme Pharma, AgTI, Cirrus Pharmaceuticals, and several others, including NIRvana Sciences which he co-founded.To use one of my Mentor's concept (Patrick Mize, PhD) to summarize my own PLC (Pathetic Little Career) Served 22 years in NC Air National Guard Master Navigator ~5000 Hrs. Flying Time C130 Retired as LTC 25 years in R&D as a Chemist/Scientist 25 years as an Alliance Manager and Entrepreneur of Emerging Medical Technology companies 9+ years as Mentor to University Students.
