Throughout my life, I have been driven to reach my true potential in everything I set my mind to through a strong and meaningful work ethic. I would call this my biggest strength. I'm determined to use this strength to have a significant and positive impact on the environment and community around me.As a high school student, I worked a number of jobs that have taught me transferrable skills I am confident will be useful in my future professional career. Between lifeguarding and food and drink services, I have gained strengths in professionalism, teamwork, and work ethic. Although my work experience is important to me, I am most proud of my achievements in serving my community through volunteer and charity work. Nothing has fulfilled me more than supporting the youth homeless through my management of my high school's charity softball tournament, marketing for my high school's charity girl's basketball game to support a local heart health organization, volunteer coaching youth hockey players under my hometown hockey organization, and a number of other volunteer opportunities I have been fortunate enough to lead or participate in throughout my life. Currently, I am a full-time student at Indiana University and although I just arrived here, I have taken advantage of the opportunities I have had to get involved so far. In just a few months I have been involved in a number of social organizations on campus. I am excited for the opportunities I have ahead of me to continue to be involved with my new community.
