Developed a prototype web mapping application to to support the Glassy-winged Sharpshooter Wide Area Management Program. Developed automated processes to ingest data from collectors, cooperators, and commercial data providers to provide near real-time data to interactive web maps, reports, and alerts. Setup the geodatabase and web application servers.

Digitized National Wetlands Inventory maps on a contract with the U.S. Geological Survey at the Center for Applications of Remote Sensing at Oklahoma State University, using Raster2Vector and ArcView. Developed scripts and custom tools using Arc Macro Language (AML) and Qt toolkit to streamline feature attribution, data validation, and edge matching.Provided technical support to the Geography Department. Eradicated an extensive malware infestation, deployed anti-virus software, and setup a firewall for the department network and computers. Recommended and implemented use use of disk imaging software to prepare lab computers each semester instead of manual installation of all software on each machine. Selected and deployed remote management software to streamline maintenance and support of all department computers.Created a couple of websites for professors. Developed a web site for a geography summer camp with and an online registration system, course and student database, and a back-end management console using PHP, MySQL, and IIS.

Developed an internal web application for server monitoring and management (ASP, JavaScript, Java, SNMP, Crystal Reports, SQL Server, IIS). Researched server management best practices and developed checklists for server deployment. Evaluated server management and monitoring software packages. Deployed software to monitor and log server performance. Inventoried physical and virtual server infrastructure. Assisted with deployment of a SAN (storage area network). Assisted with deployment of a KVM system (keyboard, video, mouse) remote server management.
