Designed, installed and programmed a programmable digital media gallery in SOU’s Library with four projectors and parabolic speakers.

Lead Programmer for The Eleventh Hour and Uncle Henry’s Playhouse. Built game creations tools in C for DOS and UNIX. Wrote puzzle code and artificial intelligence modules for The Eleventh Hour. Designed and implemented an automatically extensible game build automation system.

Performed installation, maintenance and repair of station equipment, including transmitters, microwave equipment, switchers, cameras, digital video effects consoles, character generators, VCR’s, monitors, and electronic news gathering equipment. Created programmable logic array chip for integrating three PC’s with Chyron character generator for election results reporting.

Wrote new versions of the MOVE, FIND, and DESTROY programs for the Mace Utilities. These were written in assembly language, using my single pass tree parsing algorithm that parsed a hard drive in approximately half of the time that it took the file finder in Peter Norton’s Norton Utilities.

In addition to all regular engineering duties, kept the chart of accounts for the AM station (Broadcast House, Inc.) and the FM station (WRR Inc.) handled all payroll and payroll tax reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, depreciations, and the formatting and preparation of balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Worked with the CPA’s at the accounting firm (Emmett and Mitchell) to make adjustments, close the year, and prepare the federal income tax returns.
