I am Passionate working with veterans and providing the services that we the American People have promised(through Congress). I am a Career Human Resource Manager; my goal is to help Veterans reduce and eliminate barriers to employment. Promote the Career Transitional Assistance Program. Create a positive environment to train and work. I analyze each veteran's needs, then assist the veteran in developing a plan to reduce and eliminate the barriers. I Promote using the new technology; USAjobs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and the changing array of applications employers are sending people to apply for jobs. To take advantage of the certifications that exist such as National Career Readiness Certification. The challenge facing our veterans populations are trying to work with even just one of them can be mind-boggling. My favorite part of working in the career industry is developing the plan and seeing the growth and personal develop along the journey. See the jubilation of those who succeed and celebrating those little successes like getting an interview. My focus now is to expand my abilities to assist a larger number of veterans.
