Deals were mostly atypical, either as unusual or novel property types, or standard properties that were financed in innovative ways. Covered all property types in the U.S. and international locations, spanning everything from acquisitions, developments and asset management, to complex distressed loan workouts, opportunistic maneuvers within securitizations, multi-tiered debt and equity structures. Preston worked on CRE-CDO mortgage REITs, investments within hybrid hedge funds, and helped PE portfolio companies optimize real estate assets owned on the balance sheets of diversified companies.
