My Current role mainly focus on Drives and automation Repairs and Spares. I am also involved with Mobile mining team which works with VEM Alternators , Traction motors and Main Blowers. My portfolio is really broad and I am grateful for the exposure and experience i am getting.As an Internal Sales Representation my roles are as per below:• Receive calls and assist clients telephonically with sales related enquiries.• Liaise with suppliers in terms of pricing / delivery lead times for modifications / rewinds etc. and responsible for all associated documentation and follow up until supply and invoicing to customer.• Ensure that the customer’s credit facilities are approved / updated and assist in resolving payment queries.• Make effort to provide the product or service required by the customer and offer alternatives whenever applicable. .• Prepare SAP quotations complete with data sheets and drawings where necessary.• Ensure timeous submission of quotations to customers and follow up independently or in liaison with responsible representative. • Pass all documentation relating to special products ex-factory to the projects department for further processing.• Respond to requests for quotations and communicate / forward all relevant documentation relating to orders for export with the export / shipping departments.• Understand export requirements for customers within Sub-Saharan Africa (i.e. freight , imports and exports regulations and pricing structures).• Issue internal workshop instructions for orders requiring modifications.• Ensuring that the business follows the correct processes when doing business with international companies.

As a Commercial Trainee , my roles were as follows:• Checking quote calculations, commercial clarifications• Sending out order confirmations to the customer.• Creating of Purchase requisition for 3rd Party• Creating of Job numbers on SAP and update job number on Tracer• Goods Receipts ICC / 3rd Party invoices, Submitting invoices to Accounts for Payments• Issuing of Invoices and Delivery Notes• Debtors: Following up on payments• Damex and PATAC check• Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed
