Litera Management Services is a management consultancy firm. We have advised multiple clients, both in public and private sector, on strategic aspects such as feasibility study and tariff modeling.

Maitreyi college is a constituent college of the Delhi University. As a treasurer, I had the opportunity to review the books of accounts of the college. I also approved a marginal increase in student fees after establishing the need for the same and checking various other likely sources of funds. I also carried out various other statutory tasks as required for a treasurer in addition to discussing issues with other board members and raising concerns at the board meetings.

In this role. i worked with Ms. Atishi Singh (then Advisor to the Education Minister and present Education Minister) on an initiative to improve grade 9 results of students in DoE schools, termed Chunauti - 2018 which aimed to build foundational skills (especially reading and computational skills) among students in upper primary grades. We also worked with DIETs and Mentor Teachers to develop supplementary reading material to help teachers bridge the conceptual learning gap among their students and build grade level competencies. In addition, we planned and coordinated to ensure regular capacity building for the mentor teachers as well as the teachers in DoE schools in line with Chunauti. Apart from the Directorate of Education, we worked with a host of NGOs such as Prathum, JPaL, CSF, TeachforIndia, life-lab, among others. I also worked with Mindtree consulting to develop an app (called circle-in) for enabling the HoSes and Mentor Teachers to carry out their work.

Under the guidance of the then Dy. CM Shri Manish Sisodia and the current Education Minister Ms Atishi Singh, we discussed and finetuned the idea of decentralized governance, termed as 'Mohalla Sabha' project which was passed by the GoNCTD cabinet in June 2016. In order to ensure its implementation, we coordinated with various government agencies ranging from GSDL Ltd for preparing the GIS maps to demarcate each mohalla boundary to the departments such as MCD, PWD, DJB, DUSIB and I&FC among others to map out the officials and fix their responsibilities. In addition to the above, i prepared various process flowcharts for seamless resolution of citizen complaints and worked with NGOs to develop an app to be used by the citizens. Sadly, the entire project was shelved by the LG (Delhi) in August 2016.

Shivaji college is a constituent college of the Delhi University. As a member of the governing board, i had the opportunity to discuss the grievances raised by various stakeholders (academic and administrative staff) apart from the matters put forth by the Principal for approval of the board. Occasionally, the discussions transformed into debates in case of sensitive matters.

The role entailed following tasks:1. Debt syndication: Arranging debt funds as high as over Rs 10,500 Cr for a single client from a group of lenders for a number of companies, ranging from manufacturing companies (paper) to service providers (telecom operators)2. Finacial Advisory: Reassessment of financial viability, project appraisal, compatible modes of financing, financial structuring and business restructuring strategy for manufacturing companies (textile, sugar, oil & gas) and service providers (telecom operators)3. Corporate Debt Restructuring for a telecom service provider

I was a part of the telecom team that provided strategic and financial advisory to companies in the telecom sector. The key assignments include benchmarking study of the Indian telecom GSM industry for the industry association COAI, financial due-diligence of Airtel and Reliance Communications, churn management strategy for Airtel broadband segment and assistance in developing entry strategy for American Towers Ltd.

Wrote research reports covering companies in the Engineering Mid-cap segment (Bajaj Electricals, Havells India, Astra Microwave Products, BEL, Honeywell Automation, Nelco and Solectron Centum) as well as Telecom sector (Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Tata Teleservices, Reliance Communications and Tulip IT Services). Initiated coverage on several of these companies and wrote regular research updates on all the companies covered. Also wrote reports covering telecom sector as a whole.
